Is baby food good for dogs?
Yes! Baby food is highly regulated and healthy. Make sure to stick to baby foods that are safe for dog consumption. Keep it simple!
Some baby foods can be fancy and have lots of ingredients that might upset your dogs stomach like garlic or onion powder. Stick to the basics of pureed vegetables, meat, bananas, etc. (See also: What Foods Are Bad for Dogs?)

- 2 containers your choice of meat and vegetable combination of baby food
- 1/4-1/2 cup no sodium beef broth (or no sodium chicken broth, as needed)(*optional)
- 1 ½ Tbsp. dried Parsley(*optional)
Note: You can also make these using other flours if your dog is sensitive to wheat flour. You can use oat flour, brown rice flour, coconut flour, chickpea flour, etc.

4. Bake in an oven preheated to 350° for 15-20 minutes until desired doneness has been reached. Easy!

Thank you so much for this wonderful easy recipe. My 6 Chihuahuas loved it! The first batch I made 42 mini bones. I love that this recipe is so versatile …I can’t wait to try other baby food flavors.
You’re welcome Cecile! Thanks for stopping by. :)

I’m so glad your dogs loved them. Thanks for stopping by! :)
These treats are great! I used a mixture of beef and peas baby food and my dog loves them. Super simple and easy clean up. They’re soft enough for my 19 year old terrier to chew without any pain. I’ll be making them frequently!
My little puppy mill breeder Yorkie had all her teeth removed last week and was missing her treats. I made these for her yesterday, and she really loved them! I only baked them for 10 minuets and we still had to break them up. I think she might be able to gum them after she completely heals, but they are easy to break up and don’t make a mess. Thanks for sharing this!
Great for my Tsu that is allergic to everything. I can use ingredients she can eat! Thanks!
My dog loves these! I use apple and chicken baby food. Thanks for the easy recipe.
Happy that I can use up my toddlers leftover baby food. My dogs are crazy about the treats too! Thanks!
is it possible to use fruit blends when making these treats? or mac and cheese with veggies? the recipe calls for meat and veggie blends so i was just wondering :)
in the store where i went to i could only locate apple chicken dinner?
HELP!?!?!?! please
Hey Diana! Good question, dogs can tolerate some fruits better than others. The apple and chicken dinner variety should work just fine for these treats. Let us know how they turn out! :)
