These delicious looking No Bake Peanut Butter Banana Truffle Dog Treats are pretty enough to be in the candy shop window, but are super easy to make. While they are made from people grade ingredients, they are made especially with your furry little friends in mind.
The odds are that you probably have the ingredients on hand already to make these truffle dog treats. I love that you don’t have to bake them at all. Just mix, roll and refrigerate or freeze. That’s it!
Be sure to gift some to your fellow dog-loving friends so they can give their pup a special treat too! You can hand these out to some deserving pups at your local vet or groomer’s office.
No Bake Truffle Dog Treats Ingredients:
- 1 large banana
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ¾ cup oatmeal
- 1 Tbsp. honey or molasses
For coating the truffles:
- Carob powder for dusting or unsweetened shredded coconut. (optional)
No Bake Peanut Butter Banana Truffle Dog Treats Instructions:
Mash banana, stir in peanut butter, cinnamon, oatmeal, and honey. Oil hands to keep dough from sticking.
Scoop a heaping tablespoon of dough into your hand, roll into a ball. You can either serve them up to your pooch as is or roll in carob powder, or unsweetened coconut flakes– do this while they are sticky before they get cold and it will stick on well. Place in refrigerator to firm up.
Store no-bake Truffle Dog Treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week or in the freezer for 3-4 months.
Homemade dog treats have never been easier with these Truffle Dog Treats!

Can these be rolled in ground almonds?

Hello Sandy, it normally depends on your dog and their tolerance for them. Some dogs have a hard time digesting them but they are okay occasionally.
