Great question Karin. I would say you could refrigerate these for up to a month. I just went ahead and added that to the post. Thanks for stopping by! :)

AMAZING!!! I’ve never thought about making my own dog treats. We just adopted a puppy a few weeks ago, and I also just received a jar of Coconut Oil that will be perfect to try in these. (also giving a jar away on my blog right now if you’re interested from Tropical Traditions). Thank you for sharing. Pinning as well.

Jocelyn says
Just wondering how much beef broth? It says “1/” as though it should be a fraction of a cup?
Pet Coupon Savings says
Sorry about the Jocelyn. It’s 1/2 cup beef broth. I’ll add it in. Thanks for letting me know! :)
Amy says
Has anybody made these with something like garbanzo or buckwheat flour? Any alterations need to be made to the recipe? I’ve got dogs with food allergies, but would love to try these.
Pet Coupon Savings says
Hi Amy! You could certainly give it a try with different flours. The texture might be a little different but I’m sure most dogs wouldn’t care. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out so I can add an Allergy-Friendly version for others too. Thanks for stopping by! :)
Nailah Bone says
My dog really loved them! I did leave out the beef broth since I couldn’t find any that didn’t contain onions but my pup still wolfed them down! I’m actually making a video on how to make these, I can send you a link when it’s up! Naturally I’ll credit you as the recipe creator and link your post.

Not sure what I did wrong. The mixture was gooey and I couldn’t “roll” it into a ball at all. I could, however, spoon it onto the tray. Decided to try making just one and it came out, but is soft, more like a muffin. Not sure if that’s what these are supposed to be or if they are supposed to be crunchy like a greenie. Will try giving them to my pup when he wakes up and see how he likes them.
Katharine says
Not sure if I did something wrong, but there was NO way to roll it into a ball… I had to scoop it into drops on my pan. Measured everything carefully and followed exact instructions… And got goop. In the oven now, crossing my fingers it turns out okay!!
Katrina says
What is the shelf life? (Not fridge or freezer)
Sheila Walker says
Can’t wait to try this recipe! Can you dehydrate these?
Thank you,
Sheila
