Homemade Lavender and Oatmeal Dog Bath Ingredients:
- 4 cups oatmeal
- 4 cups baking soda
- 3 Tbsp. pure lavender essential oil
Homemade Lavender and Oatmeal Dog Bath Dog Bath Directions:
Place oatmeal in a blender, food processor or coffee grinder. and pulse until it is a fine powder.
Combine ground oatmeal, baking soda, and lavender well- combining ingredients in your blender will assure a thorough mix.
To use: Scoop 1 cup of the oatmeal bath into a tub of warm water, stirring to mix well with your hand.
Place your dog in the water and try to keep them in tub for a minimum of 15 minutes, as they soak pour the oatmeal water over their body repeatedly for the full benefit.
If you feel your dog needs more of a wash, add a couple Tbsp. of unscented baby Castille soap to the bath to add suds and another layer of cleansing.
After time is up rinse your pet thoroughly with warm water, and dry gently.
Repeat once a week.
